Chef, entrepreneur, author and writer Shrimoyee Chakraborty may have started her career in corporate business, but her current role as founder of new central London restaurant Calcutta Street is where she’s making a name for herself.
With inspiration from her mother and the vibrant city of Calcutta, Chakraborty began to fuse her working life with her passion for food. The chef has also written for The Times, produced YouTube cooking videos, and pitched an idea for a primetime show which was aired on Walt Disney’s UTV channel. She also writes her own food blog, Eat With Me Shrimoyee.
